Get to know your body, inside and out. Introduce change in both diet and exercise slowly. Becoming physically active is a necessary part of healthy weight loss. Any exercise at all is better than none. Start slowly. Keep it simple, do something you like and make it very easy and convenient. Balance weight lifting or strength training with cardio based activities. It does not have to be expensive either, walking is free and it is possible to do a full body workout with just a pair of dumbbells.

Healthy weight loss comes from a healthy attitude. Be realistic about your goals and don't set the bar to high. Don't expect instant results or perfection, some days are just better than others. Make a long term commitment; it takes time to lose weight properly. And don't give up because in the long run you will not only look better, feel better and have more energy your overall health and wellness will have vastly improved.
